Dominik Hrinkow (29 Jahre, AUT), Andreas Hofer (27 Jahre, AUT), Andreas Graf (32 Jahre, AUT), Patrick Bosman (24 Jahre, AUT), Sebastian Schönberger (23 Jahre, AUT), Timon Loderer (26 Jahre, GER), Jonas Rapp (23 Jahre, GER), Markus Freiberger (22 Jahre, AUT), Nils Friedl (20 Jahre, AUT), Daniel Eichinger (22 Jahre, AUT).

Tomas Slavik winning run, Downmall Tour Prague

The most expected stop of Downmall Tour is always final round round in Prague. Its longest track there, biggest crowd, fastest riders and of course DOUBLE points! Shopping mall was exploding and atmosphere was amazing! In the final run it was Tomas Slavik who was the only guy to get under 40 seconds mark and he took a big win! Because of double points Slavik took also overall championship win even with missing first round in Ger...many! What a day!

" Sometimes the mall racing can get a bit same and kind of stereotype racing, but when it comes to Prague its whole another different story. I was looking forward to race in front of my home crowd basically from the beginning of the Tour and racing in Czech Republic is just something I dont get very often in season. So Im really enjoying every second out there meeting my friends, family and fans. The track was really fast, physical and reeeally slippery. That was the facts which made the finals looking really wild, riders were doing mistakes, crashing and it was difficult to make a good run. Even I made a big mistake in first turn, but then rest of the track was just perfect and I was the only one out there to get under 40 seconds which made me really happy, because this guys are reaaaally fast! Cherry on top was that because of double points I took also the overall championship title even with missing the first round in Germany. Super happy about how all things went down and cant wait for another Downmall Tour. Thank you everyone for cheering and pushing us to the finish line! "

Tomas is now getting ready for Crankworx World Tour starting in 2 week in New Zealand. Tomas will be taking part in 4 different events trying to carry as many points as possible for the overall KING OF CRANKWORX. He will be racing in Dual Slalom, Air DH, Pumptrack a Speed n Style. After two years with Team Sky, the Grand Tour specialist from the Czech Republic signs with BORA

His record together with the team from Raubling, which will be named BORA – hansgrohe from 2017 onwards, is impressive: 7th in the Tour de France (2014), 9th in the Vuelta a España and a stage win (2013). With Team Sky he finished 6th in the Giro 2015. Next season König, who signed a three-year agreement, will be the team’s leader for the Tour de France 2017 starting with its Grand Départ in Düsseldorf, Germany.

“It was Enrico Poitschke and Ralph Denk back then who picked me up from a small continental team and gave me the chance to race the biggest races in the world and to progress as a rider. So when I heard about their new project and ambitions I felt like coming back home where it all started. I've learned a lot the last two years with Team Sky and I'm extremely grateful for this experience. Now I'm ready to give my best in the coming years and chase our ambitious goals.” – Leopold König

“I am very happy that Leo is coming back to our team BORA – hansgrohe. I feel honoured, because it is a big evidence of trust to make that move coming from Team Sky, and even 2016 was not his best season he still is one of a few riders that has the potential to finish a Grand Tour on the podium. Once we developed Leo from amateur level to a top ten Tour de France rider, now we look forward to learn from his experience from the last years.” – Ralph Denk, Team Manager

Team Felbermayr Wels zum vierten Mal Gesamtsieger der O.Ö. Rundfahrt

Mugerli (Team Baku) wins Tour of Serbia

Kvasina third, Synergy Baku best Team

Matej Mugerli has won the overall title in the Tour of Serbia. In addition, Matija Kvasina finished third overall and Synergy Baku Cycling Project takes home the title of best team. Mugerli finished the sixth and final stage Sunday safely in the peloton, which crossed the finish line only three seconds behind two escapees. He came into the stage with a lead of over two minutes and was never really endangered all day. He laid the base for his GC win on the third stage, which he won by over two and a half minutes in a solo to the finish. The team led the team rankings for the entire race. Kvasina finished third on the second stage and stayed in the top three overall until the end. “There were many attacks today but our team had no problem controlling the race. The guys did an amazing job and we also won the team ranking,” Mugerli said. “This was my first race back after a break, and I am very happy to have won the overall title in a stage race.” “This final stage was more difficult than we expected, but the guys really gave their best,” said DS Andrej Hauptman. “We lost the mountain jersey, but held on to the team classification. Congratulations to all the riders and staff.”
