It wasn't hard to tell that Joost was very dissapointed after the race. This is what he has to say about the 2011 World Championships:
'That’s racing' people say... or 'Maybe next year'... 'We know you were the fastest this night'... and 'In my opinion you are the champion'...
But I'm not. That's a fact. And it's all very nice what everybody said to me but the dissapointment is still there. I can't wear the rainbow jersey next year.
I've got a bronze medal. Not bad, but not what I wanted. I have to stay focused and keep on chasing my dream. Next year a new shot! I'll be there!
