In case you haven't heard it: Tomas got a mechanical problem during qualifications and crashed. He didn't make it to the finals. A big dissapointment for the team. Wichman, Marosi and Meijer tried to make up for it.
Unfortunately Meijer had to cope with Graves and Carney in his first heat and he didn't manage to make it through the 1/4 finals. Marosi had to battle against Longden but he did great and crossed the finishline in second place. In the quarter final he was up agains Prokop and Rinderknecht and that was a mission impossible.
Wichman rode strong the whole evening. Up untill the big final everything went just as planned. Joost was flawless but in the big final, against Graves, Rinderknecht and Tschugg, his start was just not good enough. That caused a massive battle in the first two turns.
It wasn't the weekend R.S.P. would sign for. The expacted more. But it just didn't happen in Canada. Next stop: Val di Sole, the last World Cup of the season.
