WC 5 Val di Sole: Slavik 2nd, Wichman 6th

The loose soil caused some great action on the fast Italian track. Slavik was on fire this weekend but Rinderknecht was just a little bit faster.
In the final Tomas was up to Graves, Prokop and Rinderknecht. Graves got pushed to the outside and lost all his speed. Rinderknecht was off and Slavik was on his tail. But there was no room for a move. A second place was the most he could make out of it.
Wichman did pretty well in Val di Sole, but his below standards qualification put him in the difficult part of the schedule. He was up against big names quit soon and because he was seeded 7th he couldn't pick the best lanes. World Cup 5 ended in the semi finals.
Marosi was out in the 1/8 finals. He didn't make it in a heat against Rinderknecht and the suprisingly strong Magis from Belgium. Marosi unclipped and wasn't able to recover from that misfortune.
RSP Mountainbike Team won the World Cup for Teams award again! The fifth time in a row!
